    Application

I applied online. The process took a week. I interviewed at Rosenboom Machine and Tool (Spirit Lake, IA) in November 2013.

    Interview

The lady was not nice at all, they read you a list of questions, give you a numbers and measurement test, give you a tour, and that's it. They basically will hire anyone who walks through the door as long they are willing to work for less than they should be paid, do whatever the supervisors tell them to, and follow a very strict set of rules. What they fail to tell you is that it's basically prison when it comes to the job market. Hard to get out of and you are watched at all times.

    Interview Questions

    • Can you work long hours on your feet   1 Answer
    • Can you lift up to 50lbs   1 Answer

    Negotiation

No negotiation. 3-4 weeks of classes on things you will never use. Waste of their time and yours. Especially since half the people quit within their first month or two. I only wish I would have done the same.
