I have been working at Roswell Park Cancer Institute full-time (More than 8 years)
good benefits (retirement, health insurance, life insurance, flex spending account etc.); nice people to work with
not to much room for the advancement, no pay rise - doesn't matter how long you've worked, depending on the department administration can be pain in the butt (slow and incompetent)
Advice to Management
too much money put into PR stuff, invest in your employees instead, no one cares about free hot-dogs for employee appreciation day or a flashlight as a Christmas gift...
I applied online. The process took 4+ weeks. I interviewed at Roswell Park Cancer Institute in July 2016.
There were two interviewers. They based a few of the questions on my resume/background. They had their questions prepared, and they were going through them during the interview, deciding which of the questions to ask me. They also spent a few minutes describing the job duties. After a few minutes of the beginning of interview, they asked more open-ended questions.
