    Application

I applied through an employee referral The process took 1 day. I interviewed at Royal Ambulance (San Leandro, CA) in May 2022

    Interview

Canidates are required to complete a scheduling and availability agreement and motor vehicle record release authorization form before coming to the interview.

I was greeted with smiles from the moment I stepped on premise. The one-on-one interview with recruiter took about 30 minutes. The recruiter asked about 5 standard interview questions and gave a great insight to the company's culture and values. The recruiter was also very helpful in explaining the EMT licensing process and how Royal could assist in each step of the licensing. The interview process ended with a lift exam. Requiring candidate to lift, load, and unload a 150 pounds and 200 pounds gurney.

Overall, the interview process was very casual. I showed up in my school uniform and felt at ease by everyone's friendliness.
    Interview

    1. How would your friends describe you? 2. How to you manage stress and handle a conflict? 3. Why do you want to become an EMT? 4. What are you aspire to do with your life? 5. What was your favorite experience from your EMT Academy?
