I have been working at Royal London full-time (More than a year)

    Pros

Where to start!! The people are great. Company understands work / life balance and promotes flexible working, you get out what you put in. Work is varied which keeps it interesting. Definitely recommend RLG to anyone, not your typical financial services company / culture.

    Cons

Nothing obvious. Office is past it’s best but moving to a new one :)

    Advice to Management

Expanding fast, undertaking a lot change, which is good but continue to focus on your workforce. Some pinch points starting to show, certain people and teams getting stretched and stressed.

    Performance and Capacity Lead Interview

    Difficult Interview

    Application

The process took 4+ weeks. I interviewed at Royal London (Edinburgh, Scotland (UK)) in May 2009.

    Interview

The whole interview process took over a months time . The first round was core technical and was taken by an external consutant who are Subject Matter Experts in this field. The interviewer had good questions and was based on basic concepts rather than knowledge of tools. Second round was the Behavioral Competency round and after attending so many interviews and getting stuck in this round I have failed to understand what the interviewers are looking for in these questions.
