Rue Gilt Groupe – Why Work With Us?

Our People

We’re 600+ strong, and spread out between Boston, New York City, and Kentucky, too.

Giving back is always in style!

"We have formed a true partnership with Pine Street Inn, sending volunteer teams to prepare food and serve dinner every month. Throughout the year we also sponsor various other events: food drives, 5Ks for charity, and holiday toy and clothing drives, to name a few."

Kentucky Volunteer Day!

#TBT to some associates in KY who volunteered at Turnaround Resource Center, a nonprofit  organization that provides a variety of helpful resources to individuals in need.

 Boston Volunteer Day!

"Every year our Boston associates volunteer at several organizations around the city. This is a very special day for us to give back to our community and have fun as a company! Thank you to our partners: Franklin Park Zoo, Mother Caroline, Confetti Foundation, Rosie’s Place, Ronald McDonald House, St. Francis House, West End House, Animal Rescue League, Boston Medical Center, Cradles to Crayons and Boston Rowing Center"

 New York Volunteer Day!

"Our New York associates partnered with organizations in the city such as: Free Art NYC, Urban Outreach Group, and Confetti Foundation. We love being able to give back to help our community while still having fun!"

At Rue Gilt Groupe, we are committed to creating a diverse and inclusive environment for all our associates, vendors, and members. We strive to make our workplace one where everyone feels comfortable, welcomed, and empowered to be their true selves.

In 2019, a group of our associates started the Diversity and Inclusion Committee in an effort to bring diversity to the forefront at Rue Gilt Groupe.

“Diversity fuels RGG’s creativity and innovation. We are committed to inclusion across race, gender, age, religion, identity, experience and thought.” – Diversity & Inclusion committee

Our Diversity and Inclusion Committee is dedicated to recognizing and celebrating diversity within our organization. For Black History Month, the committee held the Young, Black, and Professional Kickback event, which hosted a panel of four accomplished black professionals from four local companies. The panelists shared their experiences surrounding career growth, imposter syndrome, and authenticity in the workplace as minorities.

In June of 2020, the committee hosted a virtual forum for associates to discuss the prevalent racial injustices and how we as individuals and a company can make a positive and meaningful impact on our community going forward. Additionally, throughout the month of June, Rue Gilt Groupe is proud to be matching any associate donation to the NAACP Legal and Defense and Educational Fund.

Check out our feature about the committee in BostInno!:

For our summer internship program, we recently partnered with Hack Diversity, an internship to employment pipeline focused on recruiting and placing underrepresented minorities into the Boston workforce. Aimed specifically for the Latinx and African American communities, students receive professional mentorship, coaching and participate in an extensive training program that allows them to seamlessly integrate with their technology-focused host companies in the Boston area.

“Racial bias cannot be ignored and all of us can be the voices of change. Each of us has a role to play in creating a world and a country that will not tolerate injustice against any member of our society.  We need to do more. We need to do better.” - Mark McWeeny, CEO

I applied online. I interviewed at Rue Gilt Groupe in January 2020.

Recruiter was quite rude and arrogant. She obviously did not have Legal background. Based on the job description you have 3 attorneys who work a global market. A) Attorneys do not know the laws of the world, that's why there are regional counsels or outside counsel in those regions to assist. According to this recruiter, these 3 ladies were the attorneys for the world and they also had no legal support to assist. Totally not a function effective team, if you ask me.
