    Media Intern Interview

    Anonymous Interview Candidate
    Declined Offer
    Easy Interview

    Application

I applied through college or university. The process took 4 weeks. I interviewed at SHOP.COM.

    Interview

Initial face to face meeting at a college career far with multiple follow up phone interviews with the woman who would supervise me. Gave a résumé at the initial meeting but this was the only kind of paperwork required. After the first phone interview I was given links of videos to watch to familiarize myself with the company and its mission.

    Interview Questions

    • I was asked at the beginning if I would be an "un-franchise owner", I did not have any plan to do so. I just wanted the opportunity to work as an unpaid intern. I was more familiar with the woman that I would be working with than the process.   Answer Question

    Reasons for Declining

The position felt like a ploy to get me to be an "un-franchise owner".
