The way we work is as important as the goals we achieve.

There’s more to a job than just the work – and we believe it’s those “other things” that set us apart.

At SI Group, we value diversity. With manufacturing sites across the globe, you’ll have the opportunity to work with colleagues of different languages, different backgrounds and different skills – and we embrace those differences.

SI Group is a company that supports and rewards excellence, honesty, hard work, and great results. We’re not only family owned; we are a family of employees working together to achieve our goals. We know the importance of work-life balance, and we strive to provide you with benefits and wellness resources to lead a healthy life, both at work and at home.

We celebrate milestones. In today's dynamic workforce, the best and brightest choose SI Group and stay here. We have employees worldwide each year that celebrate 25 years of service, and we couldn’t be more proud of that service and dedication.

We value teamwork. Our employees are empowered to make a difference in the work they do, and we recognize those contributions.

We take pride in our Core Values, to guide the way we work. At SI Group, our Core Values are more commonly known as our Guiding Principles. They dictate how we work with colleagues, customers, and other business partners—and they’re non-negotiable:

Guiding Principles

I have been working at SI Group full-time (More than a year)

SI Group has many attractive factors. It is family owned, with a heavy emphasis on work-life balance and employee satisfaction. It is large enough to have many of the operating tools of a large corporation, yet small enough that it’s still a close-knit organization where personal connections are strong. Senior management is demanding but empathetic.

Heavy emphasis on consensus can slow down the decision-making process. Regional operating structure makes global alignment a challenge at times.

    Advice to Management

Continue to maintain the family-first culture as the company grows. It is a massive differentiator vs the corporate culture of “you’re just a number”.

I applied online. The process took 5 days. I interviewed at SI Group.

I was contacted and interviewed via speakerphone for about 30 minutes. The interviewer was very nice, but the interview style itself wasn't smooth towards the end. They would ask a question, I would answer, they would ask another question that wasn't related, and so on. It was made more difficult by the lack of body language information since it was over the phone and my voice had a delayed echo I could hear.

    Interview Questions

    • What do you think about safety in the workplace and how are you familiar with it?   Answer Question
    • What would you do if you saw someone doing something unsafe in the workplace?   Answer Question
    • How do you develop trust between team members and yourself when working in a group?   Answer Question
