I have been working at SPS Commerce full-time (More than a year)
I love working at this company because of the people. At least in our department, we have a really good team with people that work well together. In my experience, it's a very respectful environment. There are silos like at any large company but I've found most people are open to working across departments to solve problems. I also love the flexibility as I can sometimes work from home. Bonus is the free gym in the Minneapolis office.
The company is going through a lot of growth and that means change. Sometimes that means swapping desks, sometimes that means transitioning to new systems or ways of doing things. It's a big company and you'll meet new people frequently and you'll need to work with people with a wide range of backgrounds. If you're not comfortable in that environment, it may not be the company for you.
Advice to Management
Please make sure to continue to encourage diversity at the company. Promote those managers who really work to develop the talent of the people around them and who understand that people make mistakes and can learn from them if given the opportunity.
I applied online. I interviewed at SPS Commerce (Minneapolis, MN) in September 2017.
Phone interview was approx 30mins. Person hiring was extremely positive and very nice to deal with. They were standard behavioral based questions and wanted to know how my past experience could be translated into helping at this company.
