STRAIT is a SOC I Type II certified fund administrator providing a full range of financial solutions for hedge funds, private equity firms, family offices and management companies. Services include full fund administration, regulatory compliance services, investor services, performance and risk reporting. Founded in 2006 and headquartered in Dallas, Texas, STRAIT has clients nationwide and is backed by an industry leading team of CPAs, CFAs, JDs, and MBAs.
STRAIT is excited to announce our move to a new corporate headquarters in Dallas, TX. After outgrowing our previous offices at Preston Center, it was time to design a working environment that aligned more directly with our company values and unique culture.
“As a firm, we have grown not only by the number of clients but the talent we have attracted,” said Assistant Director, Zain Lalani. “Due to our growth, we are moving to our new office space which will be three times larger than our current space. Our new open layout will help to accommodate a team building atmosphere and cultivate innovative solutions all while fostering an enjoyable work environment.”
In addition to having more space, the new office has sit-to-stand desks; a relaxation and meditation room, big screen TVs and a large break room and kitchen. STRAIT’s new building boasts an impressive gym and great walkability. The area is home to dozens of restaurants, coffees shops, great shopping at both Northpark Mall and the Shops at Park Lane, and one of the largest Whole Foods in the country. “We’re excited to welcome our clients, friends, and future team members to stop by the office and experience the new space,” said COO, Brant Pallasch. “STRAIT has a reputation for excellence in our work product and service, and now that’s really going to be evident in our working environment as well.”

At STRAIT, we’re always looking for a reason to celebrate! Birthdays, Baby Showers, and Happy Hours “just-because” are all opportunities we take to bond with the team. We also have quarterly events such as family picnics, parties, bowling, ladies events, and annual trips to the State Fair to make sure we’re taking time invest in those that make STRAIT the dynamic, collaborative environment we strive to maintain.
The team at STRAIT is comprised of innovative go-getters and A-players that are entrepreneurial at heart. So as you can imagine, we like to work hard, and play hard. In an effort to encourage work/life balance, we offer 21 days of PTO for the first 2 years. During the summer, we leave the office by 4pm on Fridays. We also offer paid time off on 9 holidays and a half-day the day after Thanksgiving. When you think about it, that’s over 200 hours of PTO a year. After three years with the firm, you’ll be entitled to 26 days of annual PTO, and after 8 years with the firm you’ll be eligible for 31 days of PTO a year!

Impact on the Community
What’s your passion? Whether you’re an advocate for children’s education, adult literacy, women’s rights, community health, etc., STRAIT offers 4 hours of PTO for you to spend pursuing your volunteer passion. In addition, we provide 8 hours of PTO to complete at least one firm-wide volunteer project a year. We also sponsor and attend special events that benefit local and national charities.
Office Environment and Teamwork
If you’ve ever wondered what it would be like to work in an office where Apple, Google, and accounting services collide, this is it! Our office is modern and visually open to allow for collaboration and easy communication. That said, we are excited to announce that we have relocated our office to Park Lane and 75 where we have sit-to-stand desks, a relaxation and meditation room, and big screen TVs. Not to mention, our new office boasts an impressive gym and great walkability (we’re right next door to the Shops at Park Lane and Whole Foods!).
Furthermore, we meet every Monday morning to not only see what is on the work-week horizon for the team, but also to find out about your weekend. Yes, we care about you, and not just about the work you contribute to the team!
Snacks and Catered Meals
That’s right, not only do we love to celebrate, but we love to eat! As such, we provide: a kitchen stocked with delicious snacks and refreshments, catered meals on occasion during busy season and sometimes “just because.” We are suckers for breakfast tacos and Bubba’s breakfast biscuits!
