    NEE is now SWCA

AMHERST, Mass.-- A year after joining SWCA, New England Environmental, Inc. (NEE) has made the transition to the SWCA brand. In April 2016, SWCA acquired New England Environmental, adding an office location in Amherst, Mass. The acquisition expanded SWCA's presence to the Northeast and added new services, including bioengineering and landscape architecture.

  • Have you heard of bioengineering (a.k.a. "soft" engineering)? It's an innovative, natural way to solve erosion problems along riverbanks. Read more on how SWCA is using bioengineering on projects: http://glassdoor.com/slink.htm?key=vQBZY

    Application

I applied online. I interviewed at SWCA (Phoenix, AZ).

    Interview

Online application through LinkedIn, Phone screening with the recruiter, face-to-face interview with the hiring manager, 2nd interview with senior leaders, offer the next day. This was a pretty fast turn around and very positive. I brought samples of my work, but the hiring manager was not very interested in looking at them.
