SWK Technologies, Inc. was founded in 1988 in Livingston, NJ with just a few great minds in a small office ready to become a different kind of tech company. Since then, we have grown to a company of over 160 employees and still growing! We’ve also expanded into several other states, including offices in New York, Arizona, and North Carolina, to name a few.

SWK’s IT practice is ranked among the top 50 in the world by industry insiders. Our Network Services division provides active network monitoring and cybersecurity support. We also provide world-class IT consulting to help with mobility, cloud, data security, business continuity, and back up and disaster recovery.

Every company likes to brag about culture, culture, culture, and 99% of the time culture is just a word executives use to justify their bad behavior. SWK is part of that 1% where the executives actually are serious about the culture and it shows. There is a real sense that the company is focused on investing in its people. There is clear progress in some of the previous cons of the company such as career progression and executives practice what they preach.
As a small perk the company closes at 3 on Fridays during the summer so that we can have an early start to the weekend.
There is a real community here. People like coming to the office and the company is really trying to engage remote team members.
Pay and benefits are quite competitive in the industry.
Public company which means stock options, the better the company does, the more money I see in my portfolio.
This executive team is brand new and even after 2 years they are still putting out the fires left by the the insane last executive team which means that while the company is growing rapidly, everyone is running to build a stable foundation for scalable growth.
Advice to Management
Keep up the good work! It's an amazing feeling to actually enjoy stepping into the office instead of dreading it like many of my friends do. But as the company grows and gets more sophisticated it might be about time for another layer of management to progress the high performing employees and help ensure that our expansion keeps going strong.
