Advice to Management
To provide the "excellent customer experience" that you talk so much about you are going to have to sacrifice some $$ and time.
I applied through a staffing agency. The process took a week. I interviewed at Sage ACT! (Lawrenceville, GA) in September 2011.
Staffing Agency called and informed me of interview at Sage's location in Lawrenceville, GA.
Had a computerized windows skills and accounting skills test which you had to pass to get the one on one interview.
Had a one on one with on the of the helpdesk managers, asked questions on basic accounting and windows troubleshooting.
Overall I'd say your personality would get you the job more than your mastery of windows or accounting.
