Mission: Champion small and medium business, and the business builders that grow them.
I have been working at Sage full-time (Less than a year)
Global software company, which adds tremendous value to your resume.
Outstanding compensation package, above average in the US compared to other technology companies.
Amazing work-life balance.
Remote position, which generates flexibility: working from home and having the opportunity to plan my days, is a huge motivation for me, I'm very efficient! Flexibility in the workplace and empowerment triggers highly motivated employees, and thus highly efficient teams in the long-term. Great company!
I haven't experienced anything negative yet.
Advice to Management
Let's give more recognition to the US Payroll Division in annual meetings, there is great potential here!
I applied online. The process took 3 weeks. I interviewed at Sage (Beaverton, OR).
Positive and professional experience overall. Communicated in a timely way during the process, despite some duplication of effort between HR and the Hiring Manager, which resulted in a mixed message about my chances pretty far into the process.
In July we launched our first internal Diversity & Inclusion Awards and we have been amazed by the number of nominations – we had 964 nominations.
Congratulations to everyone who was nominated! The awards recognise colleagues who have made a difference - D&I ambassadors.
We have announced the top five shortlisted nominees for each category. Good luck everyone! Winners will be announced soon.
Delighted and proud that Sage colleagues are among those recognised in the Financial Times’ annual HERoes lists, which were published online yesterday (Thursday 20 September).
The lists ranks the female and male executives who have made a substantial difference to women’s careers and it celebrates company leaders who support women in business. All those placed in the lists were identified as champions of women. After being nominated by peers and colleagues, nominations were reviewed by a panel of judges.
Sage is celebrating the placement of three colleagues in the lists under multiple categories:
• Top 100 Female Champions – Kerry Sinclair, VP of IT Enterprise Application Delivery
• Top 50 Male Champions – Seamus Smith, EVP Payments & Banking
• Top 50 Future Leaders – Helen Baker, Quality Assurance Director
