    Application

I applied online. The process took 1+ week. I interviewed at Saint Louis Zoo (Saint Louis, MO) in February 2015.

    Interview

It took about an hour (an hour and fifteen minutes due to computer difficulties). I was very nervous at first, but the two interviewers were very warm, welcoming, friendly and comical. They made me feel pretty comfortable. The interview required a five minute interpretation (presentation). They said that a prop would improve the chances of getting hired. It was a very fun interview. They called me five minutes after to offer me the position.
