I have been working at Saint Peter's University Hospital part-time (Less than a year)
Everyone that works here is extremely friendly and it feels genuine. It's a place where everyone, no matter their department is treated equally -- there is no sense of a "hierarchy" where nurses are above nursing assistants or people feel above the housekeeping personnel. It's truly a great place to work with great people. Management is always readily available.
In certain units can be shortstaffed which makes it hard.
The process took 2 weeks. I interviewed at Saint Peter's University Hospital (New Brunswick, NJ) in August 2017.
Applied mid/late July and sent a follow-up email about a week later, and received a call for an interview 2 days later. Interview with recruiter was very nice and then she sent me over to the unit's nurse manager and I interviewed with her and her assistant. Was hired on the spot.
