I worked at Sakura Finetek (Less than a year)
My direct boss was great. I would likely follow him to the ends of the world to work for him, but my role was strictly administrative.
CEO and chairman is Japanese and counts the seconds you are away from your desk. From the mouths of many employees, working in the corporate office means you will be watched very closely. You could have worked through you lunch hour, but the moment the CEO catches you away from your desk, he will approach HR. If you are not doing anything wrong, this is just a minor annoyance.
I applied through a staffing agency. The process took 2 days. I interviewed at Sakura Finetek (Torrance, CA) in February 2015.
The first day, I interviewed with the HR manager and the person I would directly report to. Each interview was held in the downstairs board room. They wanted me to start as soon as possible, so they scheduled my second interview the next day. I met with two other managers I would occasionally report to and concluded with a conversation with my direct boss. I received an offer later that night and signed paperwork a few days later.
