SalesRabbit – Why Work With Us?

About SalesRabbit:

We’re a sales enablement company that specifically helps field and door-to-door sales teams do their jobs quicker and more effectively. The core product we offer is a mobile and web app, supplemented by knowledgeable people who help companies make the changes they need to in order to improve and grow.

SalesRabbit is also Nick, who has a heart of gold and a killer instagram. (@nickdid_)

It’s Jesse, who laughs at everything and probably knows more about spreadsheets than you do about your own mother.

It’s Ben, who can pull leads out of thin air and is perpetually easy-going. Hey, if seven kids doesn’t phase you, nothing will.

It’s Kris, a database wizard who will humiliate you at our foosball table. Think of it as a rite of passage.

It’s Karlie, who is a killer support agent and budding content writer because she likes to seize every opportunity she can.

It’s GRITITUDOSITY (grit, gratitude, and curiosity-- our company values), it’s #random chat, it’s catered lunch, it’s a genuine opportunity to grow, it’s casting random videos on TVs around the office, it’s sincere collaboration, it’s a reasonable temperature, it’s the best place to work.

Yes, I’m technically being paid to say that, but I’d be willing to say it for free.

About you:

Look, we’ve read everybody else’s job postings, and their approach isn’t working for us. No more “5+ years experience, self-starter, strong work ethic, etc.”

Here’s what we’re genuinely looking for:

  • A good, confident architect. We don’t care where you learned it or how long it took you to get that way.
  • Someone who is passionate about perfecting themselves and their craft. That’s how we are here.
  • Someone who embraces change and handles it maturely.
  • Someone who loves new tech but is also down-to-earth about what is most practical from the business side of things.
  • Someone who is a pioneer and loves the challenges and rewards that accompany trailblazing development. We’re planning on new, impactful product segments that you’ll have a huge hand in building.
  • Someone who has the grit to get through the tough times, the curiosity to always be better, and a grateful attitude.
  • Someone who isn’t an ex of one of our current employees. That would be awkward.

Benefits:

We’ve got all the strappings you’d expect from a startup-- stuffed food pantry, catered lunches, soda machine, hoverboards, bean bags, ping-pong, and that relaxed, open-office environment.

But that doesn’t mean we’ll skimp on the important stuff. Not only will you get a salary, but it will be a competitive one. We’ve got 401k matching, several healthcare options, and access to all the tools you need to do your job well.

Most importantly, you’ll work with us. You don’t know us yet, but trust us, that’s big. Hope to see you soon.

SalesRabbit has done an excellent job of recruiting a talented group of people who care about the product and each other. I love working with everyone here! - Amelia

I love that they really give you the autonomy and freedom needed to build a great product. They are very receptive to feedback and are continuously trying to develop an amazing engineering culture. - Tyler A.

At SalesRabbit, there is an environment created by everyone working there of support, determination, and dedication. Everyone is willing to help each other succeed and grow. - Emalee

The upbeat environment at SalesRabbit is what makes it an awesome place to collaborate, learn, and grow. We’re encouraged and empowered to improve ourselves and the company every day, and we're given the tools to do so. We work hard, play hard, eat a lot, and hardly go a day without a Michael Scott quote. People are helpful, happy, and hilarious. There’s no better way to spend 8 hours a day than building a career at SalesRabbit. - Chaney

Almost any SaaS/tech company has a well stocked fridge and catered lunches, but what really matters is the people. If the people aren't great, no amount of "fridge benefits" can make up for it. At SalesRabbit you can tell management hired by asking "Who would I want to share a foxhole with?". The people are great and the collaboration among departments is dynamic.. Oh... and they have all the fridge benefits too. - Mike

SalesRabbit is a fun place to work; employees here are great to laugh with as friends AND accomplish tasks with as part of a team. People jump in to help when they see a need, and aren't afraid to ask questions and learn from one another. - Jesse

Working within an autonomous team is rewarding. - Chris

First off, I get to work with great friends. SalesRabbit is a place that, just like all of us, is growing, and maturing, I've worked in different areas in tech, and with different cultures, and what stands out to me here; is that we all look out for each other, and want each other to succeed, both in office and out. I've seen a lot of love and support form all departments and it really means a lot to work with people who truly care about you. - Nick

I love how open people are here at SalesRabbit. Executives are open about where we've been, what our hurdles are, where we've made mistakes, and what we're moving towards in the future. The anonymous questions for the CEO at the monthly all hands demonstrates this commitment to being open with employees. - Ben

I have been working at SalesRabbit full-time (More than a year)

    Pros

The sales team is a fantastic place to be. We have difficult but reachable goals and some of the best sales people I've ever seen work on the team. It's been really awesome to learn from them. The job is great, lots of flexibility so long as you work hard and are willing to take tons of constructive feedback.

    Cons

You will have to work before/after hours when new deals come in if you want to reach your goals. The only spiffs/bonuses outside of the normal pay is a monthly lunch and quarterly activity if we reach a goal set by management. These are difficult to hit, and while the activities are a lot of fun, aren't as good as a bonus or substantial prize.

    Software Engineer Interview

    Application

I applied online. The process took 5 days. I interviewed at SalesRabbit (Lehi, UT).

    Interview

I had a 1:1 interview with the Engineering VP for about an hour, then I was given a code challenge to do at home. Then I met with a couple members of the department and they went over the challenge as well as a few more of my github repos. A couple days later I met with the CEO and was extended an offer shortly after. It was pretty quick and painless and everyone was kind.
