I worked at Salmat full-time (Less than a year)
OK people, good hours, no requirement to participate in extra curricular activities, work is kind of O.K, if you do not mind doing the same work day in, day out, until you resign. HR try to keep things running OK, and you can talk with them if there are any troubles.
No parking for workers (except for corporate). The pay sucks, middle management seems powerless to approve anything without sucking up to the top level. Promises are made regarding employee training, but the budget rarely seems to be able to send anyone. Bullying has been a issue in the past.
Advice to Management
Be truthful with the staff regarding their employment prospects, and stop pestering them with useless emails filled with doubletalk.
I applied online. The process took 1 day. I interviewed at Salmat (Adelaide (Australia)) in February 2015.
The interview process took one day, I applied online and then I got a phone call saying I got the job. I didn't even go for the interview. Later that week they sent out everything I needed for this job and that was about it. My first deliver was that following week and im still working for Salmat delivering leaflets.
