SalonCentric – Why Work With Us?


In 2007, L'Oreal USA purchased several regional professional beauty distributors to begin building a single national distribution company - SalonCentric.  This company would not only be the official distributor for the L'Oreal Professional Products Division, it would also allow L'Oreal and a host of other top professional beauty brands to connect directly with the beauty professional in a way that is different from any other partnership in the industry.

Today, SalonCentric is comprised of:

  • Six distribution centers throughout the continental U.S.
  • One National Operating Center in St. Petersburg, FL that functions as our headquarters
  • 570 retail stores the sell exclusively to licensed beauty professionals
  • More than 600 sales professionals who provide consulting services to large salons on products and innovations to grow their business
  • A 24/7 B2B eCommerce and information/edcuation website

In addition to selling L'Oreal branded products, we also sell a wide array of non-L'Oreal products that complement and diversity of portfolio to better meet our customers' needs.

STORES

Our 570 store locations from coast to coast are community resources for beauty professionals.  A SalonCentric store is a place for stylists to gather and learn through hands-on, in-store education opportunities in our Shop & Learn environment.  Retail opportunities within SalonCentric include:

  • Store Manager, Assistant Manager, Full-time and Part-time Associate roles
  • Regional and District management, overseeing multiple stores and large teams of Stores Managers and Associates and providing support to our beauty brands
  • Store operations and support functions, including Visual Merchandising, Training, Analytics and Finance

SALES CONSULTING

Salon Sales Consultants partner with salon professionals and owners to help them build their businesses, maximize profits and stay on trend.  With more than 1 million potential salon customers in the market, Consultants cultivate their salon businesses while building new relationships for long-term growth.  Opportunities include:

  • Sales positions directly managing territories and accounts
  • District and Regional management, coaching and developing field sales teams to reach and exceed their sales targets

WAREHOUSE

SalonCentric is the largest company of its kind in the U.S., servicing multiple channels of distribution through our supply chain and logistics functions.  With six distribution centers located through the country, we offer supply chain career opportunities in the following areas:

  • Operations Management overseeing multiple functions and teams within a distribution center
  • Safety Management responsible for maintaining a safe and healthy environment for our employees
  • Supervisory roles leading teams in inventory control, shipping/receiving, picking/packing

    I have been working at SalonCentric full-time (More than a year)

    Pros

    I have been an employee of Saloncentric/L'Oréal for just over a year and have to say I'm so proud to work for them. The way they have stepped up during the COVID-19 crisis is an outstanding example of what companies of integrity do to take care of their people.
    -They have kept their staff employed and ensured salaries full well knowing that money won't be coming in in the amount it previously had been.
    -They set up a virtual university to educate staff during the down time to help them be better servants of the industry after coming back online.
    - They've contributed to Feeding America, PBA and help to produce hand sanitizer during COVID-19
    The list goes on and on in how they have contributed to the beauty industry during this time. I'm truly grateful to work for such an amazing company!

    Extremely simple and quick. Applied online. In person interview with the store manager. Spoke with her for about 15 minutes, got hired from there, and began work the next week.
