Management Position with a significant authority and a team to manage. Scope to grow and receive additional bonuses.
Big team to handle sometimes leads to more of a people management role with a little time to develop personal skills in technology space.
Advice to Management
Role should be designed so as to leave some time for personal development also. It would motivate individual and benefit the company more in the long run.
I applied through a recruiter. The process took 2+ months. I interviewed at Samsung India Electronics (New York, NY) in August 2013.
Had a couple hour long technical interview with senior technical guy. Most of the time, was explaining my past projects, challenges and technologies I have used. Gave few programs to concentrate on performance on the algorithm.
Gave a position and package below my expectation and during HR discussion I have again stressed on my expectation and got the designation and increment in package( but, not as much as demanded)
