Good compensation. Access to complete android source and tools - Helpful if you're motivated enough to dig into the source and try hacking your way to learn stuff.
Rude employees. Infomal communication. Timing policies not employee friendly
Advice to Management
Review system really demotivating. Management clings on to poor performers by "saving" them, effecting incentives and opportunities for good performers. Review system cannot be quantified, managers do a poor job of judging people. A lot of effort is wasted at the end of each review cycle because the managers were not keeping a continuous track of your performance.
I applied through a recruiter. The process took 2+ months. I interviewed at Samsung India Electronics (New York, NY) in August 2013.
Had a couple hour long technical interview with senior technical guy. Most of the time, was explaining my past projects, challenges and technologies I have used. Gave few programs to concentrate on performance on the algorithm.
Gave a position and package below my expectation and during HR discussion I have again stressed on my expectation and got the designation and increment in package( but, not as much as demanded)
