I have been working at Sargent Controls & Aerospace full-time (More than a year)
Good culture. Proper deadlines for projects. Pay is competitive for the area.
Career development is not clear. Benefits could be a lot better.
Advice to Management
Create a better career development plan and share it with the employees.
I applied through college or university. The process took 1 day. I interviewed at Sargent Controls & Aerospace (Tucson, AZ) in February 2016.
On site interview with 3 managers. Standard questions, nothing outside the ordinary.
The disappointing part, and this is worth noting, is that as I was leaving the interview after a brief facility tour, the primary interviewing manager assured me multiple times that I would hear back one way or the other within 2 weeks.
As I write this review, it has been almost two months with ZERO contact at all. In fact, I have reached out twice in an attempt to at least receive some recognition that the interview process was completed for all applicants and have yet to even receive a courtesy email informing me that other candidates have been selected.
The choice is yours, but for a company that claims to be family-oriented, small and agile, I find the lack of basic communication to be disappointing and unprofessional and would NOT recommend this company to a friend.
