I have been working at Sargent & Lundy full-time

    Pros

I have been with the company for a number of years and have had a very positive opinion of the firm from the beginning. The company is filled with really smart, knowledgeable people so you can learn a lot from your co-workers. I greatly appreciate the professional collaboration that's engrained in the company culture and the camaraderie on a personal level. Management isn't sequestered in an "executive" area. Managers, including executive officers, are scattered throughout the floors, so you have many opportunities to talk with people at all levels and get to know them . Everyone is on a first name basis from the CEO on down.

Great 401k plan plus a variety of benefits that go beyond basic benefits you except.

    Cons

There are hectic stretches. But this is typical of consulting engineering companies and you get paid for project overtime work.

    Advice to Management
