I have been working at Sauce Labs full-time (More than 3 years)

    Pros

Although Sauce has had its ups and downs (like every company), it has hired and retained experienced leadership across multiple departments.

The stagnant employees and managers have since moved on and the company is poised to knock out the increasingly larger goals we are tasked with. Sales has taken a complete 180 and product is listening to what customers need and want. There is a lot of room for improvement, but the hires made in the past 6-9 months are making a sizable impact in how we execute.

    Cons

Communication across departments is still a gap and information does get lost in how people are “used” to doing it. The culture can be a mish-mash depending on what department you’re a part of.

    Advice to Management

Set expectations early, continue to listen to your employees, and remember that our company means nothing without the support of our customers.

    Application

I applied online. The process took 6 weeks. I interviewed at Sauce Labs in March 2018.

    Interview

Great (but long) process with great people. Talked to several teams remotely over a few weeks, and got to know them and their culture well. Their teams are passionate and well-managed, and look for people who are the same. Would highly recommend.
