    I have been working at Schwartz Brothers Restaurants part-time (More than a year)


    Pretty much everyone who works here is great and super helpful. The managers care about their staff and take their scheduling needs into consideration (which was perfect for me since I started this job while still in school.)


    One manager seemed to play favorites with the hostesses. When someone who has been working there for 8 months is only being scheduled for 2 days a week (with 7 days of availability) and a new hire is working for 5 days a week, then there is a problem. But that problem, I am told, is going to be solved soon.

    Make sure you can stand on your feet for extensive periods of time. There is not much time to take a rest and sit down.

    Advice to Management

    Other than the scheduling thing, they all do a great job.

    I applied through an employee referral. The process took a week. I interviewed at Schwartz Brothers Restaurants.


    I brought in my resume on a Tuesday at around 2:30, filled out an application and met with the General Manager. I was called in the next week to meet with the Bar Manager. Each time we spoke at dining room tables, it was very informal, very easy going. The hiring process consisted of a lot of paperwork, and a tour of the facility and a group class to go over all of the company policies.
