I have been working at Scientific Technologies Corporation full-time (Less than a year)
-Innovation-oriented is often said by many companies, but failing to invest and seek those opportunities is the norm. This company backed up the claim by planning to move to the warehouse district in Jan 2018, and having some team members work over at Galvanize, a startup hub in downtown Phoenix.
-There's potential growth in both public and private sector.
-The company invests in your own health as well.
-Everything is geared to trust the employee first.
You need to bring your A game every day. Work-life balance is valued and respected, but you have to be productive every day. My advice is spend time understanding the role you apply for. You should see yourself happy doing the work that needs to be done.
Advice to Management
It's important to me that our work strives to make a difference in public health. Keep your efforts infusing that into the culture because it can be incredibly rewarding. I emphasize the word "keep".
I applied online. The process took 4+ weeks. I interviewed at Scientific Technologies Corporation.
The hiring process took about a month. Went through about 3 interviews. 2 in person and one phone. The phone interview was done by one of the directors and she was very brief. I don't think she was originally supposed to do the interview. The in-person interview was with an individual who already worked for the company and I was asked scenario questions and my previous employment questions.
