The company has a really good culture. Everyone that I work with is very friendly and very helpful.
Understaffed. They are very picky with who they hire which isn't a bad thing, but the rest of the employees pay for it by working overtime. Especially close to a release date. Compensation is below average for the amount of work that there is.
Advice to Management
Think of some new projects for the company to develop. This will help the company grow better like you always say it will.
I applied online. The process took 4+ weeks. I interviewed at Scientific Technologies Corporation (Tucson, AZ).
I applied online. The entire process took a few weeks. I was initially contacted within a week or two after submitting my application. I had an initial phone interview with HR representative, followed by a phone interview with two supervisors. Then I flew in for an onsite interview. The phone interviews were typical and I was asked in-depth about my background and experience. The onsite interview was easy and more of a conversation and orientation. I met with several high-level company reps and had both 1:1 and a group meeting. The onsite interview lasted several hours. I think at that point it was more to meet me in person and see if I would fit in with the company culture. I received an offer within 2 hours of leaving the on-site interview.
They posted a hiring salary range on the job posting. I was asked in my initial HR interview what my minimum starting salary would be, and I provided a number. After I learned more about the position but before the on-site interview, I re-negotiated for a higher salary than the one I initially provided them.
