The benefits are hard to pass on. Everyone for the most part was friendly. It was rare for me to encounter a negative experience, but it did happen. Overall, I enjoyed coming to work.
The main con for me was the competitiveness inside our own department. I was a photographer and our leads encouraged all the photographers to compete with one another to meet our quota, even if that meant "stealing" the customers for pictures. I'm really not the type to compete with others. It was especially hard if your shift is towards 3 or later in the afternoon since that's the time the number of guests coming in significantly decreases.
Advice to Management
I don't know a better word for it, but I wish they didn't play 'favorites'. Just because one worker does extremely well and meet or exceed the quota, doesn't mean the others are not trying. It would be better to support all of them rather than the few who were willing to intervene other workers' chances of getting a picture.
I applied online. The process took 5 days. I interviewed at SeaWorld Parks & Entertainment.
Very quick, not very many questions were asked
Person was very straightforward, do not stress about the interview at all you will do fine, very easy, just checking if you are able to speak well and do simple task
Was offered job on the spot
