I worked at Secret Escapes full-time
The most amazing and kind people work here, both in the U.S. and in the other offices around the world. People are quick to lend a hand and help out which is great. Work life balance was also pretty good. If you're hungry for projects or if you have an idea, management is pretty open to hearing you out, and letting you take charge of execution which is cool. I developed my skills a lot here, and am grateful to have found such a great employer.
Only con for me was accommodating multiple time zones in my role, but it wasn't too terrible since my work life balance was still pretty great.
I applied online. I interviewed at Secret Escapes (New York, NY) in April 2016.
The interview itself was fine. It was straightforward. However, what happened after is where the problem lies. I was never contacted again and told whether or not I got the job (obviously, by this point, it's a no). I wrote a thank you note that was never responded to, nor was my followup email. If another candidate was selected, that's fine, but at least have the decency to let someone know where they stand. If this is how job candidates are treated, then I could only imagine how their business is run.

Big day for Secret Escapes Media as today we set live our biggest partnership to date with photography brand Nikon! We even got to send 3 of our staff away to 3 incredible locations to learn all about Photography. As a small teaser - Check out what trouble our very own Eleanor got up to when she jetted off to Iceland for 3 days with a Nikon D7500.
