SecurAmerica – Why Work For Us?

Employee-Focused Work Culture

We recognize that we are only as good as our front line officers and the site security team. We know that if we take care of our employees, they will take care of our customers!

When SecurAmerica was founded in 2005, we not only wanted to be a different company for our customers and the security industry, we also wanted to be a different company for our employees. That’s why SecurAmerica has focused a large amount of attention and resources in building a work culture that celebrates the performance of our officers and treats them with respect, dignity and professionalism.

Our comprehensive health insurance program coupled with a robust employee recognition program and other unique benefits (that no other security company offers) have resulted in industry-leading employee retention and satisfaction levels. We genuinely care for the welfare and happiness of every employee and are committed to helping them build a very rewarding career with us. Whether an employee stays with us six months or six years, we want them to enthusiastically say that SecurAmerica was the best company they have ever worked for!

I have been working at SecurAmerica full-time (More than 10 years)

    Pros

Management , Supervisors , Account Managers Etc. are all good People. They watch out for their Employees.. Human Resources is the best.. This Company makes You feel needed and They Respect You as well.

    Cons

No Company is Perfect ! This Company has Grown and they allow You to Grow with them. Some of My Coworkers can seem unsuited for this Profession. No Heavy Lifting , But You do have to deal with some Unexpected Circumstances that probably could have been avoided..

    Advice to Management

Keep doing what You're Doing.. Be Careful of the Security Guards that Present a Promising First Impression..only until they get to a site and show their " True Self "

    Application

I applied through an employee referral. The process took 1 day. I interviewed at SecurAmerica (Atlanta, GA) in September 2013.

    Interview

The interview process was cool. Filling out the application was crazy though. That was the longest application I ever filled out in my life. They asked what would I bring to the company, why did I choose Securamerica, and they asked me to describe legendary customer service. Basically what made the application so long was having to answer questions in an essay format. The entire process was very professional and everybody is in a nice shirt and tie. The whole you feel like your in way over your head. But as long as you stay focused you should be fine.

    Interview Questions

    • They asked about my background in security. They asked why I chose Securamerica, and they also asked me to tell them about a time I experienced great customer service.   1 Answer
