Many of the reviews are written by colleagues clearly frustrated by current events. Sedgwick gives back what you put in. They value your input and will do what they can (within reason) to right a wrong. This is a claims job. For many it will come as a surprise that every claims job out there has a heavy work load that will leave you feeling “overworked and underpaid.” Perhaps it isn’t the company that is the problem - perhaps it is you, the colleague. If you are unhappy adjusting claims, it is not going to magically get better at another company. Find claims in a book of business that you enjoy, or perhaps it is time to start working towards moving into another area of insurance.
Sedgwick is a business with clients to service. It has to make sacrifices just as everyone else is currently doing at the time of writing this review.
That having been said, if you are a self-starter with a strong claims background and can adapt quickly, you will succeed with Sedgwick.
