I worked at Select Energy Services full-time (More than 5 years)

    Pros

Management was really down to earth and understood family time, if needed. Everyone was easy to get along with, which made the day go by fast.

    Cons

Like any other oil and gas business, it's hard to make a living when oil is so cheap.

    Advice to Management

Be as transparent as possible; always let your employees know what's happening down the line.

    Application

I applied online. I interviewed at Select Energy Services (Keithville, LA) in May 2017.

    Interview

I applied online 3 times at Indeed.com because the job description kept changing and they would re-post. After several weeks I finally got a call on Tuesday, May 30, 2017 for an interview the next day.

    Interview Questions

    • They didn't ask me any questions. I was told that my resume told them everything they needed to know. They also told me that they had many applicants but had narrowed it down to 8 and then 3. They wanted me to fill out an application including a driver application so they could check my driving record in case they needed me to drive somewhere. I was told that the man's boss would be in on Friday and they would be making a decision. So I called Friday around 3 because I didn't want to have to worry all weekend. I was told that they were going to call Monday to let us know the decision. I never got a call one way or the other.   Answer Question
