Technical Account Manager

Being a woman in tech, I only recently started advocating for myself at work about advancement opportunities. Because of this I wanted to ask this question to my male counterparts. When you have 1:1's with your direct reports and talk about career growth / aspirations what is your managers’ response typically? I’d like to gauge how my experience (negative) differs from others. For instance are you met with blockades, enthusiasm, dread, etc?

Pros

1. The New Management Team 2. The facilities and the upgrade in infrastructure 3. Even as a trainee I received a laptop and flexi hours to work. 4. The recruitment of new managers and COE head. 5

Cons

1. The policies such as 9.30 hrs in the office premises and 8.30 hrs in work floor
2. The policy change should not be too frequent (lot of experimentation)
3. Need more large deals

Advice to Management

1. Please be more aggressive in winning more projects and cross skilling of employees.
