I worked at Sentrana full-time (More than a year)
Sentrana hires uniformly excellent people - super smart, kind, and collegial. The company had some huge, early success before I arrived that was guided and envisioned by the CEO and management team.
- Great office space
- Great benefits/salary
- Caring atmosphere
- Well stocked kitchen
- Lots of employee activities - real care about employees
- Excellent internship/coop program
- Some of the huge early success has been hard to replicate
- Too much reliance on "gut feeling" and not enough research that involves customers to determine product direction
Advice to Management
Solicit opinion (and listen) from all employees about direction. Use some of the very big brains that are so carefully hired!
1 hour phone call. Highly disorganized, they didn't know if I was applying for a summer or a full time position. It was clearly the persons first time doing an interview. A lot of the questions were cringe worthy. Tell me about a time you have resolved a conflict etc.
