    1. Director Interview

      Anonymous Employee in Bengaluru
      No Offer
      Negative Experience
      Easy Interview
      Application

I applied through a recruiter. The process took 1 week. I interviewed at Sequoia Consulting Group (Bengaluru) in Oct 2023

      Interview

The process started with a Recruiter calling and scheduling a discussion. First round there was a call with the reporting manager and the discussion was more on your experience and fitment in the organization. In second round two juniors with 4 to 8 years of experience took the interview. Honestly taking a interview by juniors for a candidate with more than 15 years experience is not a good practice. The juniors were clueless what to ask and ended up asking all behavioral questions which had all been answered well. Later after two days the recruiter calls and says you are not selected. Still wondering what went wrong.
      Interview

Junior interviewee questions 1. What is your leadership style 2. How do you manage teams when in conflicts 3. What actions do you take if the team mate is taking frequent leaves 4. Do you recommend innovative ideas in developing a solution when there is a time crunch? And many more of such behavioural questions. Usually such questions are asked by HR but here the team who is going to report to you if probably selected is asking these questions. This is a big flaw in the interview process.
