Management always looks for a scapegoat to cover up their bad decisions. They typically identify one behind closed doors, so you'll never know if it was you they blame unless someone in the know tells you. That tends to stun your growth and your credibility among your peers, and then it's all downhill from there.
Textbook "pass the buck" management style from the inexperienced supervisors.
Any "promotions" within the company are typically just an increased workload for the same pay, while they lie to you about the possibilities to keep you motivated to do your job.
Advice to Management
Quit and go somewhere else before karma comes back at you. Actually, it appears like it already has.
I applied online. The process took 1+ week. I interviewed at Serac (Carol Stream, IL) in July 2016.
Get ready to have your ear talked off. The interview lasted 2 hours. Very disrespectful in my opinion, they acted like I had nothing else to do with my day.
Reasons for Declining
They didn't offer the compensation I wanted. Would only give me 50 cents more than im currently making and I received a much better offer from another company for double my pay and twice the benefits.
