Mission: To develop a team of quality people who focus on excellent service, fairness and mutual respect.
I worked at Servpro Industries full-time (Less than a year)
Lot's of work available. Seem willing to hire people who are willing to work hard but don't yet have the qualifications
Each office is independently owned and operated so experiences will vary with each office, but in my experience the pay is on the low side. Not bad if you're new to the industry with little or no experience but if you have experience, you won't get paid what you're worth. I now make approx $20K-$25K more at a different company in the industry in the same position (Restoration Project Manager) and my friends/colleagues at other, locally owned companies are in the same range. Each office doesn't seem to be very large so there is a lot of time being on-call. Lots of turnover.
Advice to Management
Hiring people with little or no experience is fine as long as there is other people with experience there to train them.
I applied online. The process took 3 weeks. I interviewed at Servpro Industries (Gallatin, TN) in August 2015.
The Human Resource Manager was knowledgeable and passionate about the company and the department. There was an initial phone screening, then a phone interview. The phone interview went well and an offer to have an in-person interview was scheduled. The in-person interview went smoothly and most of the department set in sessions to interview. The process from application to rejection was around 2.5 weeks. The formal rejection email took a month to receive. Seems like a wonderful company to work for.
