In defining our culture, we translated the factors that we once said sorry for into success qualities that we could share unforgivingly, proudly, and clearly. We developed a solid concept that embodies who we are, what SharkNinja stands for, and what we expect from our executives, leaders, and associates. We outlined success attributes that will continuously open a dialogue and lend our teams a framework that encourages accountability for ourselves and others. We documented our personal and professional business values in a way that could be easily shared with new hires, long-time associates, and potential candidates; setting a clear expectation of SharkNinja’s Breakthrough Culture while being fully aware that our breakthrough environment isn’t for everyone.

Drawing upon characteristics that amplify growth to achieve success and impact, we combined elements that reflect SharkNinja’s focus on fulfilled associates whom feel cared about, can see an impact in their work, and experience growth in themselves.     I applied through college or university. I interviewed at SharkNinja (Newton, MA).


    There were four or five mini-interviews with different department heads, each about 45 minutes long. The company uses this as a means to determine where they think you will fit best. There is some redundancy in interviews, where I was asked to review my skills and experiences. Interviews by the R&D engineers included some brief questions designed to have you think outside the box, demonstrate how you may work with them, and show general engineering knowledge.

    • A ping pong ball falls in to a pipe with a close fit within a room. On a desk is a hammer and a box of Wheaties. You must remove the ball without damaging it or the pipe.   2 Answers
