I worked at Shedd Aquarium part-time (More than a year)

    Pros

You get to meet new people on a daily basis. Typical job to work while in school. Management willing to work if a situation comes up. Can get other employees to take your spot for the day.

    Cons

Can get boring after a while. Usually required to work on the weekends and even nights if management is not told ahead of time.

    Application

I applied online. The process took 4+ weeks. I interviewed at Shedd Aquarium (Chicago, IL).

    Interview

Applied, waited three weeks, had a phone interview then one at Shedd. Both were enjoyable, the interviewers were pleasant and very easy to talk to. Most of the questions were about what I wanted out of the internship and about my past experience. Make sure you know exactly why you want to work there and what you can bring to their program. Very nice people and enjoyed the conversations I had with them.

    Interview Questions

    • Most of the questions were just them getting to know me and learn about my experience   Answer Question
