Advice to Management
I applied online. The process took 2 weeks. I interviewed at Shire (Lexington, MA) in April 2018.
I applied online, a recruiter reached out to me for a direct, in-person interview. There were 3 rounds of interviews, each lasting 30 minutes or more, and spoke with a group of senior technicians in the first round, a supervisor in the second round, and a tech II and lead tech in the last. They asked relatively simple questions, basically just questions about things that I listed on my resume, as well as standard behavioral-type questions. Overall this interview was positive, and everyone I spoke with was very nice.
I called the recruiter for an update on my candidacy, I unfortunately did not get the position, which I understand, as I know others are competing with me for the position. However, I was simply told "okay" after I thanked them for reaching out and setting up the interview for me... would have been a completely positive experience had it not been for that small incident.
