Earlier this month, Shutterfly joined @covenant_house in Times Square to help raise awareness and support the more than 4 million youth across the country who will experience homelessness this year alone. On Giving Tuesday and throughout the holiday season, you can join us in sharing warmth and spreading love. A portion of sales from all Shutterfly blankets will be donated to Covenant House to support their mission of helping young people facing homelessness through unconditional love, absolute respect, and relentless support. You can also support individual youth artists by purchasing a product showcasing one of five pieces of original artwork created by youth living in one of Covenant House’s residences across the country. Each artist designed a piece that represents a safe space to them.

Last month, employees at SHUTTERFLY and our ShutterColors ERG celebrated Hispanic Heritage Month with events and guest speakers. One employee, Ana Marie Tellez, shared her experience about Hispanic Heritage Month and what it meant to her to participate. "This year, I had the honor to meet and relate with other Mexican Americans through McKinsey Academy. We shared our experiences and helped uplift one another to remember we can do anything we put our minds to! Then I was asked to help MC our Hispanic Heritage Month Meeting. We had an amazing speaker who shared similar experiences. As nervous as I was, I called my daughter right after to share about the meeting. When she said she was so proud of me, I felt a full circle take place. This is a way we make sure to understand our culture and share our experiences, not just to help us grow, but our children as well.”

Interview
The interviews were pleasant and communication was clear throughout the process. I have no way to verify this, but it did feel as though they kept me hanging around in the interview process until someone who had more experience in the main programming language they use turned up, which is what ended up happening.InterviewTell me about your hardest project
