We're so excited to have officially opened our brand new Marlborough, MA office! To continue expanding our footprint and serving our fast-growing customer base, we opened a new office in Marlborough, Mass. this week. The greater Boston area is rich in talent in all areas of semiconductor development, including architecture, RTL, digital verification, physical design, and over time we’ll be adding positions in Sales, Marketing, and Business Development as well. Shubu Mukherjee, SiFive’s VP of Architecture, will oversee the new office. He’s looking forward to working together with the Marlborough team to drive the future of computing as we prove that #RISCV has no limits.

Monia Chiavacci is a globally recognized pioneer in Functional Safety (FuSA) and we are so incredibly proud to have such a talented woman on our team! In 2000, Monia started Yogitech in Italy to bring advanced integrated electronics closer to people's lives, and in 2022 she joined SiFive to develop FuSa technology based on the RISC-V architecture. Today, Monia is recognized as a global expert in FuSa. "Monia has mentored a whole new generation of FuSa experts in and outside of Italy and established Pisa as the global center of excellence for FuSa technology. While she has mentored both men and women throughout her career, Monia has paid special attention to helping guide other women in her field. She has become a strong advocate for women on her teams and routinely offers career advice to help them succeed. In addition to helping out her colleagues, Monia is sought out regularly by women from around the world who are seeking advice on technical career paths and leadership. She is proud to help make a difference in these women’s careers". On behalf of SiFive, thank you Monia!

Technical Account Manager

Being a woman in tech, I only recently started advocating for myself at work about advancement opportunities. Because of this I wanted to ask this question to my male counterparts. When you have 1:1's with your direct reports and talk about career growth / aspirations what is your managers’ response typically? I’d like to gauge how my experience (negative) differs from others. For instance are you met with blockades, enthusiasm, dread, etc?

* It's a (maturing) start-up so, some processes you might expect to have in place are missing (but others processes are slick and impressive). Although, this provides a great opportunity to take

Advice to Management

Management is hands-off, but supportive when needed: this is appreciated. All hands meetings are great, but communication from the top in between these would be appreciated. Good communication

    Difficult Interview

Interview consists of 5-7 rounds depending upon the interview feedback.
Questions are good and makes you think hard.
First round is screening round which helps interviewer quickly understand the candidate.
Second to fourth rounds are technical and coding rounds.
    Last round is with manager.

All the question asked will be very relevant to the work we do here. No DSA question that is ridiculous and unrealistic will be asked unlike many big brands.
