Sibelco Group – Why Work For Us?

Sibelco is a global material solutions company. At Sibelco, we utilise nature’s raw materials to provide solutions for society; from drinking water sanitation to solar technology, every day our materials work as essential components in the progress of society.

Sibelco was founded in 1872, initially supplying silica sand from deposits in Flanders to Belgium’s major glass producers. Our association with the clay industry stretches back even further, with our UK operations producing world-renowned ball clay in the south west of England for over 300 years. Today, Sibelco is a truly multinational business, operating in over 200 production sites in more than 40 countries with a team of over 10,000 people.

We supply minerals that are used in a vast range of applications, including glass, ceramics, energy, metal and casting, functional fillers, construction, water treatment, animal feeds, flame retardants and many more. Sibelco has dedicated teams offering innovative solutions, always with the customer at the centre.

The safety of our employees, visitors and contractors is, of course, our priority. We put great effort into achieving both zero workplace injuries and caring for the wellness of our employees.

Our vision

Our vision at Sibelco, is to be the best global material solutions company; market driven, operationally excellent, with a compelling culture. Our ambition goes beyond financial status and size, starting with safety and extending to all disciplines.

At Sibelco, people are essential to our success and our culture is integral to our strategy – we continue to build upon a compelling culture that attracts, engages and retains the best people.
