    I have been working at Side full-time (Less than a year)

    Unlike many others in Silicon Valley, this Company has an adult culture which is refreshing. We are really doing something transformative to real estate and there's nothing standing in our way other than ourselves.

    Our challenges are similar to most high-growth start-ups, but the difference between us and others is that ours are very solvable. We have a great product-market fit and a newly installed management team who have all been through rapid growth before

    Senior Product Manager Interview

    Anonymous Interview Candidate
    No Offer
    Negative Experience

    I applied online. The process took 3 weeks. I interviewed at Side in October 2018.

    I first had a phone screen with the recruiter. I was asked pretty standard questions. Then I had a phone screen with the hiring manager; After explaining to the hiring manager my experience, the hiring manager wanted to check some basic computer skills of mine. I thought it was very unusual interview, almost silly. The hiring manager, explained that a lot of the applicants are computer illiterate and so I received some extremely basic questions.

    Interview Questions

    • I was asked to do an assignment, that spanned over Saturday; it took them two weeks to respond; I was rejected with the excuse that I misused the terminology; Because I do not want to say that they get work for free, as I am not sure, I have the following suggestion;

      If you are asked to do an assignment, make sure you return the assignment at the face to face interview and under no circumstances before. If they asked for the assignment before, hung up.   Answer Question
