Training teaches you everything you need to know
The store I was in was very slow most months we barely hit goal.
Advice to Management
Make goals more realistic for smaller stores in slower areas. I understand you have a business to run and you do give employees great tips on selling but some times it is impossible to move merchandise when you simply don’t have a large customer base. Other than that great company that cares about their employees
I applied online. I interviewed at Signet Jewelers.
I was called to come in for an interview at Weisfield Jewelers but I had not yet moved to the location where the store is located. They called me back later when I had moved to town to come in, which I though was really nice that I was still being considered. I went in for the interview only to get there and the manager interviewing me was not. I was asked to wait around until the assistant manager came in (at least a 20 minute wait) and she would conduct the interview. Normal interview with her, she was great and appreciative of my time. She asked if I would be able to meet with the store manager (who I was supposed to have interviewed with) an hour later. I wish I hadn't wasted my time. Another set of standard interview questions and it went really well. I was never called back with any type of decision which was very unprofessional. I did not bother reaching out because I found part time work closer to home.
