    I worked at Sila SG full-time (More than a year)


    Sila strives to, and succeeds at, creating a vibrant company culture that is full of opportunity for growth. They put extraordinary effort into providing means to improve your skills and knowledge, offering various certification training in house and access to online learning for a wider array of subjects. They encourage and support your growth while creating a family-like feel. Your personal drive is your only limiting factor.


    The only downside that I experienced while at Sila was the fact that I had to move on. I would have happily stayed for many more years.

    I applied through a recruiter. The process took 2+ months. I interviewed at Sila SG.


    I was recruited through a meet up I had attended when I said I had been looking for employment right out of University. They were the ones who contacted me through Linkedin and gave me a phone screening and informational talk before bringing me into the office. I had two in person interviews with several people. The first I was interviewed by two software developers as well as the recruiter, while the second I had skype interviews with the DC office. Both went extremely well and were more about work ethics and how you solve problems than technical skill sets. They were extremely kind and helpful and we ended up having many interesting conversations. The only downside was my interview process took over ten weeks from start to finish. I had two to three weeks in between each interview. It was not until I mentioned I had another offer, did the process speed up considerably.

    Interview Questions

    • I had very few technical questions or hard interview questions. The hardest was how would I solve problems in a very detailed format as well as the dreaded "where do you see yourself in five years" question   Answer Question


    I did not negotiate as the offer was great and I knew I had a chance of increasing perks as time went on.
