    Pros

Great people, good salary, unlimited time off policy

    Cons

SGI was recently acquired by HPE. If your job wasn't eliminated, you will become just a number.
SGI "temporarily" discontinued 401k match months prior to acquisition, then never offered a retroactive match once acquisition was announced.

    Application

I applied through an employee referral. The process took 1+ week. I interviewed at Silicon Graphics International.

    Interview

Wholesome. All persons conducting discussions were engaging and cared about future candidates. As single day of interviews was conducted (back to back) with 5 different managers. A campus tour followed and all persons involved were cordial. Great experience.
