The school district offers the spouses at Fort Irwin a great part time job with the noon duty supervisor postition. It has convenient hours and decent pay and even offers sick pay and retirement cointributions.
The district does not actually interviewing for these positions so you end up with employees who are not appropriate for the position. There is also no formal training program or standard operating procedure so there is a lot of heresy and gossip.
Advice to Management
Develop a training manual and s.o.p. and appoint a Supervisor for each school site that is paid more but is in charge of said training and answering to administration.

Was recruited from a large job fair outside the State of California. Was interviewed over the phone by multiple people and asked a number of questions on my abilities
