    Pros

This position through the university provides the opportunity to work closely with both professors and students. The flexible schedule and flow of time in the lab allows for time to have conversations with the professors and learn from them about their career paths and suggestions for coursework.

    Cons

Minimum wage pay that does not increase relative to work experience.

    Application

I applied online. I interviewed at Simmons University (Boston, MA) in March 2017.

    Interview

The Technology department was located in a remote 3rd floor area on the Simmons campus and there were no directions on how to get there. Email said to walk in through the front but then you would have to go back outside anyways in the back. You would have to ask someone for directions. Got there on time and process took 30-45 mins.

Met with 2 people. The manager would ask a rundown of simple qualifications, scheduling, and the rotation process. You then move on to meet with another manager who asked and reviewed your resume.

    Interview Questions

    • How would you handle a situation you don't know at the help desk.   1 Answer
    • Describe something crazy that happened while you were working at <past work on resume>.   Answer Question
