I have been working at Simplus full-time (More than a year)
Some of the smartest people you will find
Extremely fast to get help and answers
Great Salary and Variable Comp
Extremely Positive Culture
Lots of opportunities for growth and for incremental achievement (gift cards for accomplishing certain tasks etc, keeps it fun)
Amazing at recognition
CEO seems positive, friendly and truly excited to go to work
No grumblers, no "not my job" people
You want to do something out of the box and are willing to justify it? You can do it.
Kinda Nitpicky on Expenses
Health care for a family is ridiculous but they make up for it by paying well
If you want someone to hand hold you this isn't the place
If you think you can hide in a corner this is also not the place, everybody produces
Still working out kinks in the quotation and SOW process (in a good way, but there is progress to be made)
Not all processes are well defined (some not at all)
Company is growing larger and overhead and rates are growing with it on SOW's.
All pretty typical growing company stuff
Advice to Management
It's a hard bridge to cross once you get from Gold to Platinum partner status. It's an instant identity crisis. There are huge demands from Management and Investors to turn into an Accenture or other big consulting firm. Don't forget your roots: Scrappy but smart, humble but confident, reasonable but not cheap. We were the honda civic before (reasonable, reliable and good) and now it's time to become the Accord as we graduate it's not reasonable or responsible to become the Mercedes.
I applied through an employee referral. I interviewed at Simplus (Sandy, UT) in March 2017.
Many interviews with the President then conversation with VP of sales who I knew so it went well and then an offer letter came. It was very easy overall. I was please with the process.
