I have been working at Sinclair Broadcast Group full-time
It is a massive organization with tons of people, energy and moving parts. For the past five years, the company has been in aggressive expansion and growth mode, both through mergers and acquisitions and also through intensive internal development of personnel and departments. The company always goes above and beyond to make sure each station has the various tools and technology needed to win against the competition.
The size of the organization is both a pro and a con. Sometimes it can be overwhelming to keep up with all of the moving parts. But with diligence comes rewards and those who are willing to put the work in will see those rewards.
Advice to Management
Pay attention to your administrators and coordinators. They are extremely important to our operation. Don't lose sight of how much they contribute to the success of the company overall.
I applied in-person. The process took a week. I interviewed at Sinclair Broadcast Group (Hunt Valley, MD) in November 2015.
IT was a conversation, very informal I learned about the company and what they wanted and talk about myself and what I could bring to the table. The whole process took about a week total
