SiteMinder – Why Work For Us?

We're not like other tech companies.

It’s rare that a global tech company is headquartered in Australia, not to mention one that’s backed by the same Silicon Valley investor as Facebook, Netflix and Expedia. How’s that for good company?

We pioneered a SaaS model for hotels in 2006, and 13 years on, competition is tough but we work hard to call ourselves the world’s leading guest acquisition platform for hotels. So far, we have 35,000 hotel customers in 160 countries, and we’re on a mission to make a world of difference to 60,000 hotels by 2022!

What do we look for?

SiteMinder employees are passionate, candid, decisive, accountable, collaborative, communicative and fun. We strive to live up to our five values and we want to work with people who will do the same.

Want to join us on our mission to make a world of difference to 60,000 hotels by 2022?

Why join SiteMinder?

At SiteMinder, you’ll do the best work of your career. We’re the trailblazers of our industry and our enemy is closed thinking, so you’ll have the chance to be creative and question the status quo. Every day, you’ll have new problems to solve - and meet new people to learn from. We continue to grow rapidly and we’re committed to supporting the learning you need as you grow with us.

I have been working at SiteMinder full-time (More than 3 years)

SiteMinder offers products that works and it's really easy to sell. The life/work balance here is the best I've ever experienced from previous organizations I've been with. Everyone cares about helping each other and it really turns out to be a family environment after being here for so long. Flexible work hours depending on your territories. I've helped promoted Sales development reps to become our top sales reps in less than a year. If you are looking for a place that is a work hard play hard environment its right here.

We aren't perfect. No company out there is. Growing pains is still a challenge here.

I applied through an employee referral. The process took a week. I interviewed at SiteMinder (Sydney (Australia)) in May 2019.

The interview process was done in a very professional and efficient way. It involves 3 stages - telephone interview with recruiting team, face-to-face interview with supervisor/manger who you will report to, and reference check.

The recruiting team was very helpful and professional. I didn't have to question what would be happen next as they would give a brief verbal explanation of what is expected about the interview step by step in each stage of the process. Then they will email you relevant information with clear explanation about what to expect for the next step.
I was very impressed with the interview process not only because it was efficiently and professionally conducted but I also felt very welcomed by everyone who I have interacted with.
